Create Music with Toys and other Noisemakers!
Learn MUSICALITY and FUNDAMENTALS within a fun and dynamic ensemble experience. Make an instrument. Discuss music terms and basic compositional concepts like: Form, Contrast, Articulation, Dynamics, Timbre, Texture, Rhythm
Using a mix of non-standard and standard musical notation and symbols we will formulate a living, dynamic composition with some predetermined elements that will be interpreted with variation.

The Radio Show
STORYTELLING, FOLEY and SOUNDTRACK
Participants will co-author a story version based on a folktale or another well known tale or a historical theme.
They will co-read and record the story and add foley (sound effects) with found items and/or stock library recordings, as well as conceive of character based leitmotifs and rough out a soundtrack/radio show intro.
Participants will record using a variety of microphones and gain exposure to Ableton Live and recording and digital signal flow.
